September 2017 Membership Promotion

PRSA is all about learning throughout your career. Now that kids are heading back to school, it’s time for PR professionals to get back to professional development. That’s why the Arkansas chapter is offering a special incentive for new and returning members.

During the month of September, when you join PRSA Arkansas, you’ll receive $50 back in the form of an Amazon gift card. This offer applies to all new members and lapsed members who have been off our roster for six months or longer.

If you’re already a member, share this news with your friends and colleagues in PR.

If you’re not yet a member, now’s the time to join! Visit PRSA.org to join our national organization and Arkansas chapter. If you’ve got questions, contact our chapter’s membership director, Nikki Heck, APR, at membership@arkprsa.org.

What to Expect from Arkansas PRSA

Becoming a member of PRSA's Arkansas Chapter expands your professional horizons through educational and networking activities. We strive to bring top public relations leaders and dynamic speakers for our monthly luncheon meetings and our professional development seminars. Plus, we recognize the best of the best during our annual award programs.

Other benefits of PRSA Arkansas Chapter membership include the following:

Speaker Luncheons
Monthly meetings feature regional and national speakers every third Friday at the Little Rock Club (30th floor of the Regions Bank building in downtown Little Rock), starting at noon.

Professional Services
Professional Services offers career counseling and guidance, mentoring, resume development, and assistance for displaced members who have lost their jobs. It is a source for those who seek the services of Arkansas' finest public relations freelancers and where freelancers can go to place their services.

Accreditation
The Accredited in Public Relations qualification is highly encouraged and the chapter provides information and assistance to achieve it. To find more information about Accreditation, click here.

Job Bank
The chapter lists the most current public relations jobs available in Arkansas and the surrounding area.

Committees
Are you interested in making an impact for public relations? Members have the opportunity to become public relations activists when they serve on the board or on any of the committees the chapter has to offer.

We strongly encourage Public Relations Student Society of America members to join PRSA National and the chapter directly after graduation partly because of the cost benefits of joining, in addition to all those benefits listed above.
